I only really like my grandfather (and my grandmother ig but she talks a lot about her bodily habits and doesn’t take care of her hair) on my mom’s side

I like my family on my dad’s side mostly, but people don’t ever mention how strained your relationship with your extended family gets when you cut off a parent. I don’t really ever talk to my dad’s side of the family because of that + my mental issues had made me so incredibly unpleasant to talk to before I was on meds that I basically ruined all my familial relationships
