I’m watching the Pitt (not finished yet) and while I absolutely love Whitaker and Robby both and Whitaker is probably my favorite character I do think it’s interesting how depaite the main cast being mostly women and Whitaker having reflectively less screen time than other characters, there has been significantly more hype around his character that I’ve seen than any other.

And to be fair I’m a part of it, I do like his character a lot but I think it’s a sign of something that out of an incredibly diverse cast the characters that most consistently received fan attention are the white men. Not to say they do not deserve attention but that the lack of attention for other characters is somewhat concerning.
