It's kinda interesting how tumblr user beabigshot deciding to share their one(1) dream online has completely changed the way people go about making AUs in the deltarune fandom

#most of the au's would probably just have been copies of the undertale aus #and we probably wouldn't have any really popular AUs at all #I barely ever see AU fan works from undertale but with deltarune you've got some of the biggest creators in the fandom drawing salt route #or their own spin on the comcept of 'kris (you) fucks someone up'#actually tbf there would probably still be some 'route' aus given snowgrave but I doubt they'd be nearly as popular #salt route #deltarune au #ut dr #domino effect #*AUs #**concept

two centuries ago, the galaxy united in their desire to form a central government which would keep everyone in check. a century ago, evermore murdered all the leaders at their monthly summit and declared themselves the head of the intergalactic government. after nearly a decade of fighting, they managed to wrangle every planet into submission. as long as they manage to contain the rebellion which remains latent underneath the surface, at least.

note: both credited ideas come from tags on AO3, neither were inspired by a specific fic but I’ve loved both concepts for far too long now!
