All the water had been used in the fire, the pitcher shattered from a panicked drop. Until then, Sybilla took a late night stroll to the well so they could at least wash the smoke and embers from their faces.
Despite the hour, the dunmer of Anryn were out having a moonlit chat. Sybilla didn’t know them that well, but... there was a cooling comfort to Serila and Tandayth’s support. The latter, though hesitant, even offered a hug.
