I can't watch clips of old music videos and performances or anything from the 2000s/early 2010s cause it just makes me so envious jealous and bitter
IM SO JEALOUS OF YOU MILLENIALS! SAY YOU HAD IT BETTER CAUSE U DID! US GENZ KNOW IT TOO! (well maybe except for older genz cause you guys had pretty much everything millennials did)
Childless Millenials will be like: "Hey I'm visiting my parents this weekend would you mind coming over to potsit my Perpetual Stew?"
afterlife for a millenial
Heaven is every mix CD I ever made and gifted, waiting for me, unscratched, in their crisp, polypropylene, prismatic splendor. It’s the smell of those backroads lined with infinite cornfields where the lightning bugs freely float, putting each Christmas light to a sad, sad shame.Heaven is the flash of a smile from across a diner booth, and later, after much overthinking, finding AIM messages from…
I just watched my first ever Tiktok live and had to google how to give a like....just millenial things 🤝
Honestly fucking LOVE when you get random youtube recommendations about 13 years after the original video was posted

It's one the last vestiges of a yesteryear internet that had everything that the today internet is lacking: authenticity
A lots said about Boomers and how they're the best off financially, and tell the rest of us just to work harder, but nothing is ever mentioned about the Boomers that are shit with money, and now they are approaching the time in life where a lot of their peers are retiring and living a life of luxury, they're unable to retire and have next to nothing saved for their sunset years and end of life care. Whether it be due to poor investments or spending ridiculous amounts of money on completely worthless collections of stuff that their families will just donate once they pass.
And how that burden of nursing homes, carers or home helps, is going to fall to their children: Gen X and Millenials. The same Gen X and Millenials that due to the actions of their parents generation aren't in a high wealth situation, priced out of property markets and unable to work their way up for promotions because the Boomers who should have retired long ago are still clinging onto their jobs as they are unable to retire.
The same Boomers that vote to remove benefits and help from the government because 'people shouldn't rely on handouts' but in turn vote to remove any help they may actually need to make it through retirement in just a couple of years.
Its exhausting.
