I am not very good at photographing food, but hopefully “I ate the portion I plated before I could remember to take a picture of it, too,” will speak well of this banana bake. It's a fast-and-loose adaptation of this recipe for banana marshmallow squares. Because I didn't have yellow cake mix, I used white; because I didn’t have vanilla pudding mix, I used chocolate. I also mixed 2 C unmelted mini marshmallows into the filling layer, rather than melt and incorporate 3 C mini marshmallows. It turned out pretty tasty, even though it felt really, really weird to be opening box mixes!
