ANDREA: Atlas! I see you’ve met Celina.
ATLAS: Oh. Was that her name?
CELINA: Hey!
ATLAS: She just started talking to me.
BEATRIX: (laughs) That’s my Celina.
BEATRIX: Did you and Cynthia go too hard before coming here?
CELINA: Beaaaaa, I lost! Miserably!
BEATRIX: Ah. She’s a little bit off Andy, I’ll take her from here.
ANDREA: That’s okay. Hey do you wanna go take a breather?
ATLAS: I think I’ll go home if that’s alright.
ANDREA: Sure! Wait, I’ll walk with you a little bit
ATLAS: Is it okay that you’re leaving your own party?
ANDREA: Yeah, it’s fine. Sorry for leaving you alone for a bit.
ATLAS: Don’t be… Sorry about the thing at the library.
ANDREA: Huh? What are you sorry for?
ATLAS: I was, perhaps, too blunt
ANDREA: Oh, that’s nothing. It seemed like you just wanted to be by yourself. All cool.
ANDREA: Also, thank you for coming tonight. Did you have a good time?
ATLAS: … Your friends are really interesting.
ANDREA: Oh tell me about it, love them to bits!
ATLAS: It was nice being in a room where people didn’t know who you were.
ANDREA: Really? You wouldn’t want even at least one person you know ?
ATLAS: Yes.
ANDREA: Whoa.
ATLAS: … That Celina girl, is she dating the red-head?
ANDREA: Oh yeah! Could you tell?
ATLAS: Well, she just kinda sat down, introduced herself to me, then just talked about her crush. I was highly disinterested, but clearly it didn’t stop her.
ANDREA: Oh my god, no yeah, Celina’s been crushing over Beatrix for ages, only recently they started dating.
ANDREA: Do you… Have someone like that?
ATLAS: Me? Oh god no. I wouldn’t want my significant other to be subjected to my family… Or myself.
ANDREA: Not even, like, a cute crush? No unrequited love?
ATLAS: Hard to look at someone in that way when they all think that you are difficult and hard to get along with.
ANDREA: Oh Atlas, that’s not true! Sure you’re prickly–
ATLAS: Thank you for the vote of confidence
ANDREA: No! Listen– you might be prickly, but you only want what’s best for others. You’re also very good at creating boundaries. Perhaps people need to learn to take the hint.
ATLAS: … Thank you. I needed to hear that
ANDREA: Any time.
ANDREA: We good for next weekend?
ATLAS: Yeah. We’ll focus on mana building. Do you like meditating?
ANDREA: … I hate meditating
ATLAS: Ha! That should be interesting
ANDREA: (groans) Atlas, man, come on!
