dragon age: origins (2009)
watch out thedas loverboy coming thru
listen there are serious priorities (kissing alistair)
does it ever just break your heart about how most of the kirkwall gang only ever know one of the two hawke twins. that at the beginning of that first year, they only know the hawke siblings as two, not three.
i know in banter both bethany and carver refer to the other, and obviously varric's telling the story, but do you think hawke told them first?
do you think mage hawke ever thought of bethany when anders or merrill fought by their side? do you think rogue/warrior hawke ever talks of ostagar and how brave their little brother had been there?
just. a soft, oh so soft, "i had a brother/sister, once."
thinking abt the hof's funeral at the end of origins. alistair lingering long after everyone has left. turning towards a single, solitary crow perched nearby, sighing softly. saying "i know it's you, morrigan"...
playing as cousland is so insane. you start the game by being the only survivor of the highever massacre. you get recruited into the grey wardens and then you’re the only survivor of the joining. then in your very first battle you’re one of the two only surviving grey wardens. it’s hit after hit after hit
alistair + wifeposting
dialogue that makes me crazy part 348735... even ignoring the talk of bryce being king over cailan it's kind of insane to know that the younger cousland sibling is thought to be more likely to succeed their father than fergus is. how well-known is cousland? what do people say about them? why are they thought to be more likely than fergus? what does fergus think about this?
