it’s a busy thing, starting an entire organization from scratch. there are so many things selwyn needs to do to get the charity set up, but right now he’s just focusing on the house. because he’s found it. he’s found the perfect house, and yes it needs lots of repairs, but it’s big and has enough rooms and is a good price. so he hires a few cheap but reputable workers to change the flooring, build a patio, repaint...the list goes on and on, but he knows what he’s doing. he’s claimed the room just off the entry as his office, a desk and chair pushed hastily inside. his laptop hums quietly, open to spreadsheets and homework, when he hears one of the new workers enter. but when he does, a strange feeling twists in selwyn’s stomach. because this man is young, blond, and quite possibly the most attractive person he’s seen this close. “you, uh, are you brayden knox?” he knows his awe is visible on his face, but he can’t bring himself to care.

Ass deep in statistic tech language trying to figure out the history of shufflemancy... this is turning into a whole thesis on the statistics of shuffling anything, let alone songs, for divination. I am learning perhaps too much about algorithms and the nature of randomness in technology
