no rest for the wicked +Dakota

Anise stands in the doorway to the bee garden in the back of Honeypot. This has become one of her favorite study spots, since it has bees, a fellow Mayan (who she actually likes somewhat), and Dakota occasionally slips her a little extra on the side. Being a full time student with a part time job is rough, and Dakota seems to recognize that about Anise. Needless to say, she appreciates it.
Sometimes, like now, being friends with the owner has its perks. She gets to watch him work (and sometimes play) with the bees. They’re not exactly a focal interest of hers, but she can’t deny a certain fascination with the little buzzing creatures. And besides, they’re imperative to plant biology.
The offer of a nap is enticing, but Anise is already taking off her sandals and padding over to the hammock as soon as Dakota points it out to her. A nap would be nice, but a nap in a bee garden full of herbs? Under an enormous leaf? That sounds about as ideal as she can get right now. It takes several long moments for Anise to actually get into the hammock, but she can feel her entire tiny frame relax into the hold of the rope bed.
“Shoot, Kota, this is the best. You sure ‘bout this?”
With Anise already tucked into the hammock, it would be a little difficult to get her out of it now. So hopefully Dakota is fine with her watching him work with the bees until she gets a little nap in. Then after that she can go back to studying.
