i feel like it’s super common to characterize duck as yelling / angry all the time which is annoying bc i think his best moments r when his voice is just so normal. Like he doesnt actually yell / sound super angry that often. when he says stuff like “attention freaks” or “get away from me duncan” etc etc half the humor is that he’s NOT boisterous & loud & mean & demanding. i think ppl r confusing his words w his delivery in a way that makes it feel flat & boring & ooc

#i think ppl often miss the point #like it’s SURPRISING & funny when he yells at the end of family / when the trio scream & foght each other after friends #*fight #he’s not constantly super angry / huffy in the specific way so many ppl write him as being #dhmis mention

Finally finished skyward sword, a game I played non stop when it first came out only to get bored halfway through and put down for a whole year until the new zelda trailer made me think I should finish it before that game comes out...

...which probably speaks to some of the weaknesses of skyward sword. Parts of it are tedious, man. And the world design is........coming off playing breath of the wild, the linearity and limited locations of skyward sword are. A letdown. I basically stuck to the story quest because exploration was boring.

That said the story of this game is elite and I'm really looking forward to seeing how the mythology of this game gets incorporated into tears of the kingdom.
