I must be going crazy...

I had this sudden urge to read old voltron LD fics and I went onto Ao3 to search for this one soulmate au pidge x lotor fic (sue me I luv this ship) where Lotor is already emperor and decides to peacefully ask Earth to join the Galran Empire (bc he learned is soulmate is there). He rescues Matt and Sam Holt and returns them to Earth and he meets Pidge

Tbh I'm usually not into soulmate au but this was enjoyable.

However....

I CANT FIND THE STORY ANYWHERE!

And no I can't remember the name. But I've looked through all the tags for the fiction I can remember individually (too many) and I couldn't find it!

So yea if anyone in this mostly dead fandom involving this unpopular ship happens to know this story and somehow knows/has a link to it plz help me I beg u

The Moment He Knew: Miraculous Au

“Hey! Lord Beatle!” Lotor glanced away from the Akuma who was snickering to the voice.

Ah! That’s Matt’s little sister!

“Yes Pi- I uh, mean, Pretty little Lady?” Lotor covered his knowledge of who she was pretty well in his opinion.

“What are you doing? Shouldn’t you be using your lucky charm to kick that guys ass?” Pidge waisted no time in critising the time he was using.

“W-well, usually Kitt- I mean, Chat Noir helps me figure out what to do.” Lotor glanced in the direction of the Akuma. “But they’re running late.”

Pidge looked around before sighing.

“Let me see it!” They demanded. Lotor held the object out confused, it was a red can with black dots. Pidge looked it over and opened it. “Ironic they gave the Bug hero insect glue.” They muttered before looking around. “The Akuma looks like they have to touch the ground to use their power. Get the ground covered in this stuff and they will not be able to move. I’ll go flag down the Cat.” Pidge shoved it back into Lotor’s arms before running off.

Lotor did as they instructed and Chat arrived just in time.

“Kitten!” Lotor hugged them. Chat gave a confident grin.

“That Pidge kid told me you had to ask for help. I thought you were supposed to be lucky!”

It was that grin that made Lotor realize something. Only Pidge and his Kitten were able to figure out the obscure lucky charms. They both had playful amber eyes that blew him away and Pidge had that signature smirk that made him fall for his Kitten in the first place.

“Kind of Ironic, Beatle Juice,” Chat started to joke. “Giving you the insect glue.”

And that was the Moment Lord Beatle, no Lotor knew, the black and green lad girl of his dreams was his best friends shy little sibling.

I was explaining Tron: Uprising to my friend and got to the part about Paige starting to like Beck when one hilarious slip-up happened. I wanted to say "...and that's why Paige wants to shag the mechanic" but I was sleep-deprived so I said "...and that's why Pidge wants to shag the mechanic" .

Then my friend said "Wait, Pidge? Like, Pidge from you-know-what?" and I realised my mistake and burst into laughter.

Now I've got this stupid idea.

Pidge as Paige.

Imagine her being a medical program who also enjoys making music (or engineering, since it suits her) with her pre-cut hair.

That's cute, isn't it? But:

Don't think about her losing her friends.

Don't think about her joining the Occupation thinking that they saved her.

Don't imagine her changing her hair as an attempt to move on.

Don't think about her caring for the citizens despite being an officer.

Don't think about her meeting the Renegade and engaging in a mutual foe yay flirting with him. Trying to stop him all the time. Gaining his respect.

Don't imagine her meeting the mechanic and starting to fall in love with him after he saves people (almost getting himself killed in the process). The feeling is mutual.

Think about her not knowing that the Renegade and the mechanic are the same person.

Think about the...

I shut up. It's angsty after that ಥ‿ಥ

The question is... Who's the mechanic/Renegade in this AU? Who's an equivalent of Beck in this AU?
