Why someone might hate them: They might behave strange when Chara takes control, also might be if the person who met Frisk came from a different timeline/universe where Frisk/Chara murdered the underground monsters.

How they change: They might become violent [Chara might take control, or they might become a ‘Lost soul’] if their past is mentioned in attempt to hurt them. It most likely depends on the situation they’re within.

Why you love them: Tbh I actually wanted to make a Sans because he’s a lazy dork who tells bad jokes like me, but since my friend made Sans, then I made Frisk to RP with my friend. Soon, I started liking Frisk more. They’re kind and have good heart, they’re very protective toward their family and friends, they encourage every creature who feels bad, and I can relate to this kind of personality because I have many of these traits. I never thought I’d be able to put my encouragment skill into RPs, but I’m glad I’m able to make muses happy, and even muns as well. Frisk is like the good side in me, and I’m glad to RP as them because I can express that side toward other people. Of course, Frisk is their own person and I’m my own person, I’ll never treat Frisk as one of me, I just relate to their character, abut nothing more than that.

Frisk decided it was time to investigate the sudden disappearance themselves, and of course, so Chara could be less concered once they collect few hints. They were worried about her condition, and couldn’t allow her concerns to continue.
