Thinking about Tower’s route from her perspective

Imagine sitting there in a room, all by yourself. You don’t remember anything about yourself and you’re chained to a wall. You don’t know who you are. And then there is this stranger who came down here with a knife, telling you that the reason why you’re down here is because you’re this supposed ender of worlds.

And of course you cling onto this thought. The thought that you are someone powerful. Someone important. Of course you’re not locked down here for no reason. There is a purpose that you have to fulfill. A purpose only you can accomplish. You are someone important. Not just a mere princess. This is also the only information you know about yourself. This is who you are now. Your entire identity.

And so, when the stranger attempts to kill you, you fought back. With complete ease, in fact. That just further convinces you that you are, in fact, a powerful force to be reckoned with. You are untouchable, and the fate that has laid ahead of you is inevitable. It cannot be changed. All you can do is to follow that fate and achieve what you are here for.
