IM DYING winters: OH G OD casimir reed-stark: and you like. the further on you go in areas bc u talk to her at the first visit to each new area right casimir reed-stark: you develop ur relationship more like she gradually goes from more formal and just really short sentences right to business but the later ones she’s like casimir reed-stark: talks more and is more friendly and you get to have friendlier options in talking to her too winters: yeah i've definitely noticed that casimir reed-stark: i just casimir reed-stark: its not fair casimir reed-stark: i love her casimir reed-stark: i love her and i love krem i love that he has a new story every time you ask him casimir reed-stark: and i love… how much they both believe in you casimir reed-stark: bc theyre not companions theyre subordinates but more equal than just the average joe running around casimir reed-stark: so they arent like your companions who all kind of casimir reed-stark: like they believe in you but they also will rival you and dont see you quite the same casimir reed-stark: krem and harding both clearly see you as their boss but also they really. see you as the beacon of hope you are for thedas casimir reed-stark: but they’re also close enough to see that youre a real person casimir reed-stark: and that youre a good person. who gets tired and sweats and cries like everyone else winters: they do. they're really important casimir reed-stark: bull is the only one who really comes close to the way they act around you sometimes but he’s still a leader in his own right so casimir reed-stark: not quite casimir reed-stark: and then there’s also just that as far as the chargers are concerned i mean casimir reed-stark: its canon that bull joined the inquisition bc krem suggested it. casimir reed-stark: they’re there because of krem. and i. i know krem probably talked them around with smart diplomatic plans and discussing the money and stuff casimir reed-stark: but i think he did it because he believed and he wanted to help casimir reed-stark: i think he’s a mercenary because he’s good at what he does and because he believes in bull and trusts him and he’s his family after what happened casimir reed-stark: but i don’t think he would’ve been one or stayed one all too long if he hadn’t gotten in iwth the chargers casimir reed-stark: he’s just a really good person casimir reed-stark: and i think. he persuaded bull to join the inquisition. because he knew the chargers could actually help people. that they could use their help and it would do good winters: i think. i really think that's true. i definitely think that's how it's been framed too, the way he talks, the way bull talks about him just. krem is a good person through and through casimir reed-stark: yeah casimir reed-stark: i think. krem is bull’s humanity winters: they're so necessary to each other at this point. from the get go casimir reed-stark: yeah casimir reed-stark: i mean the implication of how they met is. haha yeah casimir reed-stark: idk if you’ve heard that whole story but it shows up in cole banter at one point with a little more detail than i think it shows up anywhere else winters: im honestly on the verge of tears thinking about them. they're important in their own right but it's be truly impossible to have one without the other. you're friends with them both or not at all winters: and yeah i have. i'm pretty sure i have casimir reed-stark: basically like the story krem tells is “bull saved my life, that’s how he lost his eye, been with him ever since" casimir reed-stark: the deeper story is something along the lines of casimir reed-stark: krem had just been outed and whoever he was with at the time, unclear whether they’re someone who was actually after him for external reasons, but i suspect were the company he was with before casimir reed-stark: anyway he’s outed, gets tracked down, cornered, outnumbered, and the implication is that not only was he beaten and down and no one there or stepping in to help him when bull got there but casimir reed-stark: that they were also likely going to. yeah. winters: yeah/ i remember casimir reed-stark: and bull comes in and sees this stranger and what they’re doing and takes them the fuck out casimir reed-stark: helps krem to his feet, his breasts are showing and bull assumes and krem corrects him and bull never thinks of him as a woman again casimir reed-stark: and presumably they nurse each other back to health to some degree casimir reed-stark: they bleed all over each other, share their stories of how they wound up thrown together, and when they recover… they’re family winters: it's just. easy winters: like they belonged together from the start casimir reed-stark: krem<>bull is so real casimir reed-stark: oh right unrelated forgot i had this tab open to link you casimir reed-stark: http://archiveofourown.org/works/913448 read this at some point casimir reed-stark: it’s hella good
