I can’t believe we took a ship that was just “Hey why don’t we pair my fave character with your fave character?” and now that’s my OTP for the whole series. Look, it’s a crackship. We’re both actively scouring this game from head to toe and taking screencaps of everything we can, so I think we can say with almost certainty that these two don’t have a single line of dialogue where they acknowledge each other’s existence. On top of that, Hermes already has his wonderful relationship with Hypnos’s big brother Charon, which I also love to the point where it’s, like, either my second of third fave ship. BUT THEN They’re so frickin’ cute, okay? speed boi and weed boi doin crimes I also just really like to take the elements that you’d think would potentially repel them from each other (Hermes living in the fast lane and Hypnos wanting to bring his bed to work) and instead turning it around to make a connection between them. Hermes has never stopped for five minutes, but hey, turns out he benefits from sleep the one time he actually tries it. Hypnos is too lazy to leave the house, but he kinda likes snoozing in Hermes’s satchel while Hermes zips him up to Elysium to watch Asterius fight. They might not have anything in the game itself, but the potential is there and so far I’ve seen that Hades game fandom is pretty welcoming to crackships, which I’m all about. (Also, not gonna lie, I’m actively rooting for them in that thing we’re working on and this is entirely obvious lol)
