Know that if anyone for any reason ever tried to fight you or pick on you or disrespect you for your muses and musing and your right to write your own culture? I will personally fight then.
Petty anons can get pretty nasty, as I've gotten a quite a bit in the past. . . 9 years here on tumblr. I remember the hype of ACIII, of Ratonhnhake:ton, of just having representation despite it not being my culture at all. Then the fandom totally split right in half and, duh, we both know what that was. Since then, it comes and goes. In the 9 years of writing on tumblr, tho, I've only met, legit, about five indigenous writers here. Melody, you have such a strong voice and have been nothing but understanding, a fighter. You are valid, beautiful, and downright talented. So it goes without saying, I will personally fight racist anons. :) *smooches!
