idk like maybe this isn't a thing everyone would agree with, but to me fics are like opinions, you publish one for the world to see and to me you're allowing it to be contested or remixed, cause if you don't want that then keep it private, you know?
hmm i dunno i'm kinda sensitive (??) about my writing, so when someone makes a comment on one of my pieces that misinterprets it (this happened just the other day with one of my demon!Dean ficlets), I get sort of upset. Which is pretty dumb, I guess, since naturally people're gonna take away different ideas from the writing and authorial intent isn't always cut-and-dry...
