I love how this scene was played out. After Walter talked with Domingo [Krazy-8], he decided to let him get away but finds that Domingo was concealing a weapon from him that was ultimately going to be used against him. When he finds that out he didn't panic because the prisoner had a weapon, he panicked because he had no choice but to kill Domingo. Killing was something Walter did not want to do, he even let the prisoner convince him not to do it. This, I think is the start where shit really hit the fan.
