making a splash // jena

Jude couldn’t wait for another one on one with Lena. She was a beautiful girl and really caught his eye from the start - and now he got to spoil her on yet another date. She was clearly more comfortable in a laid back situation versus the usual glamor and glitz of the show, so Jude chose the most relaxed sounding date he could find from the list of suggestions he’d been given - because he was terrible at actually coming up with things to do in cities he was unfamiliar with. This date, he hoped, would be a really great time for Lena, and curiously he wondered if someone else was going to say I love you this week, too.

Ready for this laid back date, Jude stood outside the hotel in a sweatshirt and some navy blue shorts, his Adidas (stupid product placement) looked out of place and way too clean compared to everything else he wore. He was comfortable though, and he couldn’t wait to see Lena again. He’d told her to dress down, that he could wear anything that she felt comfortable in. He was excited to just get to spend some time with her and enjoy each other’s company in this beautiful new city.

Jude was incredibly excited to get some alone time with Lena again. She was beautiful, and he had a really good time with her, and he was constantly hoping to learn more about her and get to know her better. When he’d been told by some of the crew that there was a really great boat ride through hidden parts of the city, Jude had an instinct that Lena would really enjoy it. The lavish dates didn’t really seem like her sort of thing - though he couldn’t resist the suggestion to end the night at the Eiffel Tower as it lit up the skyline.

They were meeting at a park, and the boat ride would go from this park to another, further down the canal. It was a beautiful place to start their date, and Jude liked that he could dress casually for this one, wearing jeans, a tee shirt, and a leather jacket. He had his hair down, and a hat on his head, and he couldn’t wait to see Lena when she was just... being herself. The show had them dressing up a lot, “looking the part,” and this date would be the perfect way to strip that all away and make it more like it was just two people, going on a date, no cameras, no country watching them. Jude smiled as he saw Lena’s car pull up to the park.

scenic surprises // jena

After chatting with the producers, Jude was a little surprised by the suggestions they gave him for a date with Lena. He hadn’t really realized that she was so outdoorsy, but he loved that, and hoped that this date wouldn’t disappoint. He had everything planned out - there’d be a picnic basket waiting for them at their destination, so he wouldn’t have to carry it, and the surprise at the end was going to blow Lena away, he was sure of it. It was a little bit of an unconventional date, as far as anything he’d ever done as a date, but it sounded fun - especially with Lena.

Dressed in hiking boots, shorts, and a tank top, Jude was ready to go. He stood at the base of the hill they’d be climbing, and he knew that Lena would be arriving soon. The crew had told her what to wear and how to prepare for the date, and Jude couldn’t wait to see her again. She’d gotten the first impression rose for a reason - the way she opened up to him was something he really appreciated, and was honored for - and he was ready to get to know her even more, and to be that honest in return.
