Mmmmmmm it's looking like I'm going to be having a Doberman-Great Dane combo on here soon :o Just met the boy at the shelter. It would seem he's not there by his own fault, he was adopted out last year but the female Doberman he was housing with kept beating him up. It may be likely that he's rude but Ava and Scooby have the final say on adoption. He has nice leash manners and is very affectionate. Also very quiet and seems to be mindful of not jumping. Definitely knows 'sit.' Only spot he seemed to be uncomfortable with having touched was around his junk. Seeks out petting. Doesn't pay any mind to the noisy cats nearby. The way he stands seems to be pretty sound. His coat looks pretty bad but that might be because he's diluted? But we'll see how he does with a quality diet. Going to be calling a trainer to meet with him soon and see what she thinks of him. Would love to see how he does in a group/class setting.
