I haven't really tackled the "cosmic/eldritch horror" part of that setting yet other than a bizarre parallel dimension exists (huge important part of the setting) and that something called the Deep Thing exists, played a role in the apocalypse, and probably is causing the troubles some subterranean civilizations face
