"I originally thought that she was gonna hurt me. I know that she's small, she's adorable."

Maria hummed to herself, shaking her midnight blue fur out of her face. “She’s very adorable. But she’ll grow up to be dangerous. We both will.”

Alma grinned and wagged her tail. “I’m a little killer~”

"That's because you scared me, and felt that if I said anything to you that you'd perceive it as a threat. I'm sorry about that."

The chupacabra had the decency to looked embarrassed. She cleared her throat, lowering down onto all fours. “I was afraid you’d hurt Alma. She is small…I’m sorry for scaring you.”

He chuckles. "I told you when you first saw me. My name is Ink."

"Oh, you did? I must of forgot…" Alma whimpered, embarrassed.

Maria broke her stoic silence with a small huff. “You didn’t tell me.”

"Well. then pick up two. I saw you doing the motions with your hand-tail."

"Ok!" Alma plucked a few rocks up in her hand-tail, giggling as they tickled her palm. "I’m just like you…What’s you’re name, mister human?"

"Yeah, I do! What about it?"

"I only have one!" She beamed, dropping the rocks and waving her tail-hand.

"What's so weird about it?" Ink asked, tilting his head like a confused puppy.

Alma returned the puppy-like gesture, still rolling the rocks in her palm. “Feels kinda nice in my hand…Hey, you have two!”

"Do you want to try it, Almsa?" Ink holds out the two rocks, or pick a couple of your own. They're all over the floor." Ink pointed some of the rocks out.

"Yes please!" She beamed, reaching out to grab Ink’s rocks. But a quit growl from Maria stopped her mid-reach. 

The two sisters had a silent fight of glares and fluffing fur, before Maria sighed in defeat and looked away.

Alma smiled smugly, snatching the rocks and rolling them around her hand. “Kinda weird…”
