it's weird to me how much of hockey fandom (certain fans, not everyone) revolves around mocking one's favorites. it gets old and creepy after a while.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯ we all have different ways of expressing feelings and speaking within subgroups, you know? what works for you might not work for others, and the language you use to communicate about whatever fannish interests you have might not be the same language others use!
every time I make a graphic esp for my personal stuff I end up hating it or lukewarm by the end and then stare at it lovingly for days like narcissus looking into his pond
Having Aphantasia kinda blows, but knowing that I have it now &having a name for it is like a HUGE weight of my shoulders, as an artist; now I know that a lot of artists CAN visualize their work in their head FIRST and then make it. Where as for me I have to rely on trial and error, references, theory &ect. ect.
Realizing that I have to approach art differently bc I don't have that brain advantage was so cathartic and beneficial to my process omg x_x
stan mamamoo to pass your exams without even attending them
{ I have a love-hate relationship with pining curling. Love how cute it looks. Hate how long it takes to do them.
Buuut, I think if I do pin curls, my hair will be salvagable until it grows out. }
Fallen Kingdom would've been a much better movie if all the Indoraptor stuff they didn't include in it was in the final cut. It wouldn't be great, it'd still have a lot of flaws, but if there was more focus on Indo, instead of killing him off basically right after introducing him & giving him like 15 minutes of screentime max (he shows up and dies all in the last 20 minutes of the 2 hour long movie). Criminally underused character. There was so much more they could so and show with him.
