‘ guess you'd be more interested in the first 'cause by my second death... ’ a shrug of the slayer's shoulders. comparatively speaking, her initial death was much more difficult to deal with than the second one. by the time the second one came around, she knew what she was doing.

‘ so... i was into the business of slaying for about two years and my... watcher wasn't the best. hadn't taught me anything... or barely.’ mina sneers at the memory. a moment or two. a breath.

‘ patrol has been dead otherwise, heard rumors of a werewolf in the area. turns out, really shouldn't try to take on one by myself. despite what i know. wound up getting my throat ripped out. ’

she pulls her collar down, revealing the ugly scar. ‘ got this for my troubles. ’

the slayer has been attempting to sleep for the past hour, she was exhausted but at the same time, couldn't seem to settle. she was just lounging across her bed as the ping of her phone brought her back.

shifting up, she reaches for the slim device and unlocked the screen. the image before her made her breath catch. ankha's form, though clothes weren't removed, was just as provocative in pose and glance.

a deep pull of breath into her lungs.

leathery hands were taut against the hilt of the sword. mina trails her gaze downward, muscular, toned legs secured around the sheathed blade.

fingers grip the sheets, knuckles white.

Manhandling symbol starters.

mina is strong, she's stronger than most ( it comes with the territory of being a slayer, endless bouts of training with watchers ). however, she does on occasion, forget just how much stronger the warrioress is.

so much so that she almost lets out a noise at being lifted. and so effortlessly, at that. the only time she's brought to recollection is when she's been snagged by a werewolf or vampire. and there's a moment of distraction.

the slayer is glad she had the sense to wear jeans tonight. otherwise, ankha would be leaving her feeling partially exposed to the elements.

‘ show off. ’ she mutters, though fondly.
