(shoutout to @catfoxwolf, this wasn't an intended homage/reference, but ended up being pretty much that)

Where do you think Wolf Hall falls it was praised as being more "adult" then The Tudor was
I haven’t watched Wolf Hall tbh. I read Mantel’s trilogy, which unpopular opinion, I enjoyed overall. It satisfied a historical fiction craving(?) and felt more of what I wanted from Tudor historical fiction except I’d prefer a female perspective. Did they try to flesh out any of the characters outside of Cromwell’s perspective?
Anyways, I can’t say where I think Wolf Hall falls. But I think source material matters, even if the tv/film production decides to deviate for better or worse. And the premise of the production too, The Tudors was the look i'm sexy not boring period drama show that tried when Hirst wanted to or was pushed to.
you can love someone with all your heart and it still won’t be a healthy love
I really just
there’s a feeling of being rewarded that comes with being a dedicated star wars fan that has always been missing (to me) as a mcu fan
like every show or new piece of media that’s been released lately throws out these little hints from non trilogy media (the 501st clone, purgill mention, the inquisitors, kenobi’s moment thinking of satine or padme, alderaan’s design carrying over from other sources, etc) and it all really feels like the creators recognizing how loved the animated shows/comics/video games are and saying ‘this is for you’ in such a thoughtful, telling way where each arc and character feels loved and represented.
I’m so happy, I love star wars so much
i mean by now we know not to take everything misha says at face value right
