not to question a brand new staff member with 5 years volunteering experience BUT this lady tried to assist feed a sparrow 'just because she was holding it anyway' and i had to say btw that sparrow is chill and more than happy to be fed without force/handling, i know because i've fed it twice now ... and sure enough she had much more luck when she put the bird down. sensing someone whose dodgy new 0-hour contract has gone to their head
