a little snippet of a one-shot i’m working on! it’s based on this au.

Shiro bowed and offered his hand. She took it. And as soon as the song started playing, they both positioned their hands for a traditional Altean dance that was similar, but also very different, from the human dance called ‘waltz’.

Allura hoped her hands weren’t as sweaty as she felt them and her face wasn’t blushed enough to be noticeable. Her face was inches away from Shiro’s, and they were sharing a more intimate version of the dance than she had done with every previous partner she had had. Although, luckily, no one would see it as odd, given he was dressed with formal Paladin wear. Everyone knew the Queen was very close to the Paladins of Voltron, so any interaction with them, no matter how intimate, would not be seen as a green light for everyone to do the same. (And, something she didn’t know, especially when it came to the Black Paladin; everyone knew their bond was much more profound than that of her and any of the other paladins).

PYT - SKINATHON WEEK 1 ( HEADER, SIDEBAR, BOARD STATS )

i’m so incredibly excited to participate in skinathon this time around! unfortunately (and expectedly), i’m already running a bit behind lol. as you can see, everything is at least laid out, properly positioned and put into place. i still need to get userlinks and group changes installed, but luckily that doesn’t take much time! i’d also love to get a slideshow or tabbed feature going for the news module, but we’ll see how that goes. 

regardless, without further ado, welcome to pretty young thing!, my project for this skinathon! this design comes from a recently dropped commission and was mutually rejected early on in the process (it just wasn’t working for client’s needs), but i thought it’d be a fun thing to tackle for skinathon since it features many different things i’ve never done before. i’m really excited to challenge myself, learn new things, and (hopefully) have a completed skin by the end of the month! cross your fingers for me? ♡
