PLEASE can I request the men of AKOTSK with a son who is absolutely convinced that his mother belongs only to him?

Like every time they try to hug, cuddle, or kiss their wife, their little boy immediately appears out of nowhere and physically inserts himself between them. He refuses to share Mommy's attention, glares at his father like he's a romantic rival, and dramatically declares, "No! That's MY mama!"

I need to know how each of the AKOTSK men would react to losing against a tiny jealous version of themselves. Would they find it funny? Be offended? Start competing for their wife's affection?

AERION doesn't take it lightly, he feels personally threatened and offended. How can his own son, his own blood of the dragon, betray him like this and steal you from him? Besides, how can his son prefer you, his mother, instead of his amazing and wonderful father? Aerion is surprised and also acts like a brat to compete for your attention but it doesn't surprise you, however sometimes you feel simply tired because it feels like having two children instead of one.

BAELOR finds it adorable and he doesn't mind giving you some space. He knows it's just a phase in every child's life and he is happy to accept and endure it. Seeing you with his son and heir causes his heart to melt, so he simply watches from afar with a gentle and loving smile but he still steals you for a moment or two at least once a day to remind you that you're his wife above all else.

DAERON is slightly jealous but he doesn't do anything about this, he simply watches from afar with a sad smile. He sees his child as something pure and innocent and he doesn't want to spoil the boy with his curse, so when he sees you two being together, he doesn't wish to interfere, which makes him pretty absent. Because your son demands so much of your attention, it takes you a while to realise what is Daeron truly doing and you have to assure him that you miss having him around.

DUNK is jokingly offended each time his son pushes him away to have you all for himself. But the sight of you laughing with his little-giant baby in your arms is something Dunk would not trade for anything else. He's also glad that his son has a mother he can feel safe around with and he can cling to. Dunk never had a mother like that so now he would never want to stand between you and your child even if he misses you sometimes. But he knows it's going to pass.

LYONEL is ready to compete with his son but not in a clingy or whiny matter. He turns the competition into a playful and joking matter that makes your son giggle and roll his eyes. He even sometimes allows daddy to win but not without an annoyed huff. Lyonel misses having you all for himself but he also loves his son more than anything else and he wants to see the boy happy, so he's not throwing any tantrums about you abandoning him.

MAEKAR rolls his eyes a lot but he also chuckles when his son is acting possessive about you. But because Maekar is not playing soft, he is willing to grab you and kiss you in front of the boy just to see his son start a drama over that. As much as he understands it's just a phase for the boy and as much as he doesn't want to stand between you and him, Maekar wants his son to remember that you're his wife first.

VALARR doesn't see it as anything bad or weird because he was the same. In fact, he still sometimes is the same with his mother, so he doesn't feel jealous or abandoned in any way. To him, it's perfectly natural that the boy clings to his mummy. He finds it to be the most adorable sight and nothing makes him happier than seeing a family of his own. He still gets a lot of your hugs and kisses "in secret" so he's pretty content.

AERION is stunned at first when you happily announce the third pregnancy. He beams with pride, though, because in his eyes it's as if he was restoring the Targaryen greatness. On the other hand he feels a little overwhelmed because he'd want all of your attention for himself. It doesn't mean he is a bad father, though. He is surprisingly good at it as he teaches them everything about Valyrian customs, dragons and their house's traditions.

BAELOR is happy because having so many heirs is expected of him but he also worries about you a lot even though you usually don't struggle much with pregnancy and birth. He makes sure you're always as comfortable as you can be. He is also aware of the fact that so many children following you around might be exhausting so he tries to take some of the kids with him for the day as they help him run errands. Nevertheless, he loves watching all of your kids walking behind you around the castle like ducks.

DAERON is terrified. He wasn't sure about having one child and now you're pregnant with fourth? It's not that he doesn't want it to happen, he simply doesn't believe he can do it. He's scared he will fail as a father and a husband but that fear motivates him to be a better version of himself. He loves your body when it gets round and soft, so he can't complain about that.

DUNK thinks he has been blessed by the gods but he worries a lot about providing for the kids. He wants them to have a good childhood unlike his. He helps you with all the chores and doesn't mind spending whole days with the older kids while you mind the little ones. He is very present, showing his babies how to fish, sew and ride a horse. When you're pregnant, him and the older kids help around the house a lot. He feels like the luckiest but also the most stressed man in the whole Kingdom.

LYONEL is just smug. He often mentions your fertility and shows you off when you're pregnant as a bunch of loud Baratheons already run around you. You make a chaotic family with lots of laughter and love but also arguments but he wouldn't trade it for anything else. He teaches his sons how to be knights and his daughters as well if they're willing.

MAEKAR is tired. He's simply tired. But he loves his children and he loves you. When you announce your fifth or sixth pregnancy, he looks up at the gods as he asks them for patience. Perhaps because all of his kids are messy and loud and chaotic. He's a typical grumpy dad that is also willing to do anything for his wife and children. However, he takes care of your need first so when you're exhausted and the children are loud, he is berating them for that so you can relax. You always feel taken care of.

VALARR is panicking for two reasons. First of all he's worried about your health. Second of all he's scared of failing his children by not being able to handle so many of them. He's a very gentle father and he rarely scolds his babies, so you have to be the one disciplining them most of the time. Lords and Ladies often point out that Valarr's legacy is safe now, though. And that makes him feel a bit less burdened and less worried about the future. He's also an overprotective father and husband most of the time.

AERION would probably not wake up at first. He'd only open his eyes when he'd feel something small crawling between you two. At first he's alert but then he realises it's his little son. You already hold the cover up for him with a gentle smile as you put your finger on your lips to shush him because "daddy is asleep". The boy is visibly scared and Aerion immediately can see that he had a nightmare. A part of him knows he should tell his son to "man up and go back to his room". But a part of him doesn't want to do it. So, he pretends to be still asleep but he moves a little closer so the boy can feel safer.

BAELOR would wake up immediately when he'd hear the floor creak. He'd sit up trying his best not to wake you up and the next thing he can see is his daughter's big, scared and wet eyes. Baelor doesn't need words to know what happened. However, he gently asks her if she had a nightmare again as the girl nods and rubs her eyes while pouting adorably. Baelor takes her in his arms and lets her sleep on his chest, so your sleep is not disturbed.

DAERON wouldn't wake up most likely. He'd only realise in the morning that there are more people in bed than usual with something small and gentle between him and you. He smiles sleepily to himself at the sight of his daughter's soft features and he frowns at the sight of her dried out tears. He leans in to kiss her cheeks as he carefully caresses her hair. He wishes he could protect her from everything, including nightmares. Especially nightmares.

DUNK would wake up pretty fast, when he'd feel something small crawling onto him and struggling as if he was a huge mountain. He chuckles and hugs your son immediately but then his smile drops when he realises the boy is scared and sniffling his tears. Dunk tries to shush him without waking you but he fails and you do wake up. You help him to calm the boy down and your son falls asleep between you. However, Dunk is so terrified of hurting him at night accidentally that he doesn't sleep any longer. He only watches his son to make sure he's safe.

LYONEL would probably not be asleep yet as he sits by the desk with a very small candle so you're not disturbed while he reads or finally answers letters. His little girl pushes the door open and sniffles while he immediately opens his arms for her to run into them. She trust him more than anything in the world and it reminds him that he's responsible for her now. And it is time to go to sleep. He joins you in bed as he carefully puts the girl between you two and you put your arm around her while still asleep. Lyonel finds it the sweetest thing in the world.

MAEKAR would wake up because his precious sleep was disturbed by some noise. When he realises it's his daughter, he huffs at first but the sight of her tears melt his heart in no time. You wake up as well and take her in your arms. She cuddles you but Maekar caresses her hair and back as he tells her stories so the girl finally falls asleep. Despite being grumpy at first, he loves that his daughter always comes to him first when she's in danger and he'd always do anything to protect her.

VALARR would get scared that something serious happened and his reaction wakes you up as well. Thankfully, your gentle boy is not sick or injured – he's only scared because of a nightmare. For him it's very serious, though. And Valarr understands because he was a very soft boy as well when he was a child. You both cuddle him and coo to him sweetly as the boy finally relaxes and falls asleep between you two, clinging to both of his parents.

AERION blinks twice when he can hear you hiss out of pain as he watches you undress after a long day. Earlier that day you cut yourself while you were walking around the market. A beautiful blade caught your eye and you wanted it for your husband but it cut you slightly. You assured Aerion you were alright but he can see now that the vein on your arm is black, clearly poisoned. He calls for the maester and makes sure the right potion is prepared for you. Only when he is assured you should be fine by the morning because the antidote was given to you, he scolds you for not telling him earlier. He's also determined to find and kill the man selling poisoned blades for hurting his wife.

BAELOR blames himself when he sees the state of your leg. The wound presents itself still very open and ugly. Earlier that day you saved your son at the royal hunt. You grabbed the boy from the arrow's way but the weapon brushed you. You felt the pain but you assured everyone it had only touched your dress. Baelor was so stressed with the whole situation that he believed you back then and now he can see he shouldn't have. He calls every maester inside the Red Keep to tend to you. He doesn't scold you because he knows it won't change anything, he just holds your hand and assures you that you're his brave girl. He won't fall asleep until the maesters tell him they managed to stop the infection from spreading.

DAERON was too drunk to notice that when you were dragging him out of the tavern with a few other knights while he was in the middle of a brawl, someone pushed you and you bumped your head. You were so full of adrenaline, you forgot about it as well. However, the night passes and you still feel dizzy and sick. Daeron blames himself for not noticing it earlier because he was too drunk. He panics and calls for the maester who treats you as he gives you two a long speech about concussions. Daeron takes all the blame on himself and he sheds a few tears seeing you being hurt because of him.

DUNK was attacked so all he was taking care of was to get you out of danger. He grabbed you and sat you on his horse as he rode away. After an hour, you nearly faint and fall off the horse, which finally makes him stop as he sees what state you're in. A few shades paler, trembling and bleeding from your stomach. Someone managed to cut you. Dunk is terrified as he keeps whispering apologies. He patches you up himself while crying and praying to gods above to save you. You can only watch from behind heavy eyelids, too weak to assure him it's not his fault. You fall asleep and he keeps you in his arms all night long as he continues his prayers, fearing that someone would die in his arms yet again. In the morning, when you visibly feel better, he cries out of happiness.

LYONEL should have known that you were anything but fine after falling off of your horse but you shrugged and assured everyone that you were alright. And Lyonel always respects you and your independence. If you needed him, you would have told him, right? Well, in the evening he sees it's not true at all. The way you move your arm and hiss each time is not normal. He points out your hand is broken but you stubbornly keep telling him it will be fine in the morning. He takes you to a maester and the man confirms the bone is broken as you huff and roll your eyes. Lyonel shakes his head as he chuckles. Your husband loves you for your spirit but he makes you promise that next time you won't hide any injury from him.

MAEKAR wasn't there when it happened. He heard a loud sound and ran into the hall. All he saw was you standing up and fixing your dress. You told him you tripped on the stairs but you were alright. He even laughed at you for being clumsy. However, it is evening now and not only you are limping but there are also tears in your eyes each time you take a step or slightly move on the chair. Maekar insists you see a maester and he takes you to him. He stayes in the chamber and watches you undress, his eyes widening at the sight of your leg. The maester says your hip is broken and you're as shocked as Maekar. Your husband carries you to your bed after the maester patched you up. He makes sure you lay down as long as you need to and he spends every free moment with you so you're not bored. He feels extremely guilty that he laughed at you for being clumsy even though you don't hold it against him at all.

VALARR had a feeling something was wrong for the whole day. You were acting weird since early morning, extremely tired, easily distracted and with glossy eyes. He was so busy with his duties that when you were telling him you were fine, he wanted to believe it. Now he comes to your chambers to check on you before dinner and he finds you all hot, sweaty and delirious in your bed. It's very obvious you are being consumed by an awful fever. He calls for the maester and refuses to leave your side when he's asked to do so. They don't want the heir to the throne to catch an illness but he doesn't care about that. He holds your hand and helps the septas to take care of you as he puts cold rags on your forehead and tells you stories in a calm voice to distract you.

How do the AKOTSK men react do their wife getting injured

AERION raises hell. Even if your injury is very obviously only your fault, he will find someone else to blame. Whenever you get hurt, all servants are terrified because they know that the Prince will punish at least one person. Aerion hates that he couldn't protect you so he has to do all these things to feel better with himself; to know that he did something at least. He's not only worried about you but he also hates the fact something was out of his control and his love for you is possessive and obsessive so whenever you get hurt, he loses his balance.

BAELOR rarely loses his mind. He's always so stoic and composed. Yet, when you get hurt, he drops everything to hurry to you as he panics without caring if others can see him being in distress or not. He is giving orders in way less pleasant manner than usual and he scoffs at people who want his attention at that moment. Of course he is going to apologise later for being rude but he will never apologise for putting you first. You are his priority whatever happens and he won't leave your side until he is informed that you are alright.

DAERON blames himself. Whatever it is that happens he still finds a way to blame himself. Sometimes he's spiralling down so bad that he locks himself alone in his chambers and decides to avoid you because he's convinced that his presence makes everything worse. And when he finally comes to see you, he's crying and apologising. He thinks he bears a curse that you are getting infected with. It takes a lot to calm him down.

DUNK also blames himself but it's because that he wasn't there to protect you. He feels like a failhusband but he doesn't leave your side. Quite the opposite. He will do anything it takes to help you or make you feel better. He carries you around for weeks if he must even though you are alright already, he still insists to take care of you this special way for some time to be sure. And he makes mental notes of all possible dangerous situations that could happen to you in the future so next time he can prevent them.

LYONEL drops everything he's doing just to be with you. If the injury is serious, he gets surprisingly quiet as he treats you extremely gently and sweet. If the injury is minor, he likes to uplift your mood by making jokes and teasing you but he makes sure not to cross the line. He worries deep down but hides it so you're not stressed even further.

MAEKAR is extremely worried but his worry shows in the way he scolds you that you could have been more careful and that he's been warning you so many times before of this exact thing happening. You have to scold him because his berating words do not help at all. Then he reflects himself and goes silent but he makes sure you get the best treatment from the maesters and he won't leave your side no matter what until he is told you are alright.

VALARR nearly faints and he runs to you so fast he is close to getting injured himself. He panics so much even when the injury is minor that you get stressed, which doesn't help. However, you find that sweet that he cares so much. He cannot imagine a world without you and a world in which you are in pain is something he refuses to accept. His voice cracks, his hands tremble and his face is a few shades paler. When the maester arrives, he thinks that it's the Prince who needs his aid.

Everything was perfect. The dress, the decorations, the feast, the music, the dances, the meals. Everything looked like it was straight out of a fairytale. Because, to many people, it was. The wedding to the heir to the throne, second in line, and his future Queen. But now the future Queen was just a young and gentle Lady from a grand house who still needed shaping. Like it all should be.

So, when Prince Baelor and your father were drinking together and talking in Baelor's office while the wedding feast progressed and their children already retired to their chambers, they seemed to be pretty content with themselves.

"For the union," your father clinked his glass with Baelor's.

"For the union," Prince Baelor nodded. "Might it be happy and satisfying for both of our children."

"Aye," your father nodded. "Might it be fruitful as well," he chuckled and sat down on the armchair to drink from the glass.

Baelor smiled at first but then he frowned as he stared at the liquor inside his glass.

"What is it?" Your father asked.

"You just reminded me of something... Something important... Yet I seemed to forget about it," Baelor mumbled out.

"Which is...?"

"The wedding night," Baelor smiled to himself nervously. "I am afraid my son has stepped into it completely unprepared."

Your father coughed a little as he swallowed the last sip of his drink.

"Surely, the boy must have had–"

"No, never," Baelor shook his head and your father wiped the corners of his mouth with his thumb.

"That is unfortunate."

"Perhaps your wife has educated your daughter?" Baelor asked.

"No, she has not. I believe mothers, aunts and septas should not mess with a maiden's head when it comes to a business that is entirely between her and her Lord Husband," your father explained. "It is a Lord Husband that teaches."

"Your daughter's Lord Husband needs teaching himself," Baelor chuckled and they both laughed, shaking their heads.

You and Valarr ate breakfast in your chambers but you went down to eat dinner with the rest of the family. Your father watched you with squinted eyes and he seemed to chuckle when you hissed after sitting down. He looked at Prince Baelor and the Prince nodded.

You glanced at your husband, a bit worried, but he squeezed your hand under the table to comfort you. For some reason, your mother and Lady Jena excused themselves from the table and approached the maid who was responsible for cleaning your chambers and changing the sheets.

You were chewing on the food with a heart feeling heavy in your chest. You felt watched and whispered about, as if something was wrong yet it was being kept a secret.

"Do you know what they're talking about?" You whispered to Valarr but he shook his head.

From the corner of your eye, you spotted the maid nodding her head and showing both mothers your sheet in the corner of the hall.

"That is odd," you mumbled out.

Lady Jena came back to the table first, smiling and nodding at her husband. Then your mother joined the rest and she nodded at your father as well. Him and Prince Baelor chuckled and clinked their glasses together.

"What is it?" You asked finally, making all adults clear their throats and look somewhere else.

"Nothing, my dear. We are simply celebrating," your mother explained but you did not believe her.

"How did you figure it out?" Your father asked your husband suddenly and Prince Baelor choked on his meal slightly.

"Figured out what?" Valarr inquired.

"What to do on your wedding night."

A blush creeped upon the young prince's cheek.

"It is... natural, is it not?"

"Aye, it is," your father nodded with a grin. Your mother kicked him under the table.

"What are you all talking about?" You whined, looking at your husband. You didn't understand why he seemed to be embarrassed.

"Nothing for you to worry about," Valarr assured you and you chose to believe him.

After all, he was a good husband. He treated you well and he knew how to make you feel good.

He certainly proved that on the night before.

AERION orders a book from Essos about all the Valyrian braided hairstyles that has ever existed. It is a gift for you and he doesn't say anything but it's a silent suggestion of how he wants you to wear your hair.

BAELOR finds comfort in watching you brush your hair and put oils in it after a long day. He loves how soft it is and the scented smell. He is willing to oder you the most expensive oils from the furthest parts of Essos so you can treat yourself.

DAERON finds his comfort in it. It helps him to fall asleep when he nuzzles his face in your hair. Sometimes he covers his whole face with it to hide from the outside world even when you two are in public and he sits you on his lap just to smell your hair and relax.

DUNK thinks you're some sort of ethereal goddess and he's always extremely careful around you because he's clumsy and he wouldn't want to tangle something into your hair or set it on fire by accident. Especially when he's using his sword, he's terrified of cutting it.

LYONEL loves to play with it, sometimes he makes a moustache for himself with your hair as you scold him playfully but it only results in him doing the same to you. Despite his teasing, he absolutely loves it, especially spread out on the pillows under you.

MAEKAR often comments that your hair is everywhere, he finds it all over the castle. And he says it must not be worth the struggle to keep hair so long. But when you suggest to cut it, he panics immediately, which proves your point – he's grumpy but he secretely admires the sight.

VALARR loves to take care of you any way he can. So not only he orders you expensive hair oils from far away places but he also spends his evenings on brushing your hair delicately as he listens to your stories about your day or he tells you about his.

AERION actually needs an older wife and I will die on that hill. Someone who would treat him only a bit gentler than his own father does. Someone to put him his place and make him realise he's acting like a whiny brat often. A shy young mouse scared of him wouldn't do him any good. He needs an older wife who loves taming a brat and he'd want to impress her constantly by being her good boy. Or by showing off but it would never end well...

BAELOR wouldn't put any thought to an age gap that wouldn't be too big. He doesn't think in such categories. He respects his wife because she is mature, intelligent, witty and beautiful. The fact she has her own identity that was not built around him like it would happen with a younger wife also impresses him and he finds it incredibly attractive that she is her own person and she won't apologise for it.

DAERON would go crazy. He has mummy issues (another hill I'm gonna die on). He'd melt and do whatever she asks or tells him to do. He would try to be a very good and obedient boy for his Lady Wife and he'd hate to disappoint her in any way. A single frown upon her face would make him swallow thickly as he'd try his best to fix whatever is bothering her. And it would actually be a good distraction for him. She would become the center of his world.

DUNK would feel insecure at first. He'd feel so... small. Not in any physical sense, obviously. But he'd feel she's so much experienced, so much more mature and so much wiser than him. And he would get shy that a woman like her would never look at him in a way he'd wish to be looked upon. But I think an older woman would actually take a proper care of that adorable man and he'd be the happiest man in the Realm although he'd still blush whenever she'd kiss him.

LYONEL loves the way she rolls her eyes at him as if he was a brat. He loves to tease her and be in a playful mood just to see her sigh, huff and crack a smile. But the fact she's older and expects someone mature when things get serious also force him to act more like an adult often. He wants to impress his wife. He doesn't want her to think he's immature or completely carefree. He wants to make her proud.

MAEKAR vibes with her on every level. He acts older than he actually is, so it would be a perfect match. They wouldn't need words to understand each other. Just one annoyed look and the whole room knows what they're thinking. He admires her for her independence, strength and wisdom. Experience that is actually helpful, stripped from young girl's romantic ideals. She knows what real life is like and she takes it (and him) the way they are. And he finds it sexy.

VALARR would be intimidated at first. He'd hate to look more stupid or inexperienced, less mature than his wife. But once he realises she's not there to mock him but to support him as a dignified Queen she will be one day by his side, he relaxes and focuses on learning from her. if anyone comments she is older than him, though, instead of calmly ignoring the insult, he always jumps to defend her as if his life depends on it.
