If you, like me, are having deep longing for the spring and the summer, hear me out. 

For me, spring starts at the start of February, because the day is considerably longer, even though the weather is still cold and the snow isn’t going anywhere. I know that is not an official way to draw lines between seasons, but for me, spring is about the vibe. 

You will start going on long walks during the weekend and sitting on the porch with your jacket zipper open. 

When March starts, the days feel super long. You might start jogging in the evening and you might surprise yourself sitting on the sunny side of your house while wearing a t-shirt. You know, taking in the occasional slightly warmer days, while the rest of your family thinks you are crazy.

When April starts, the dirt roads are muddy, but you don’t care, because you can start walking with lighter shoes. You throw your thick and sturdy soled winter shoes to the closet and bust out your sneakers. 

Around the middle of April or towards the end of it, you go on a walk with shorts or go biking and take off your shirt for the first time since last August. And there you have it: summer is here. 

The point is, spring is so close. It is just over te horizon, only a few months away. Less than ten weeks. That time will fly by.
