16. what’s your favorite pasta dish?

I don’t know if this counts, but spaghetti squash with marinara sauce and parmesan chicken. It’s not technically pasta, but I think it tastes much better.

10. do you sleep on your back, side, or stomach?

Back.

30. think of it. have you ever been truly scared?

Yes. Definitely yes. Right now I’m terrified. I am completely, pee my pants, terrified. I’m worried that I’m going to lose everything, and I don’t know what’s scarier than that.

50. what’s an odd thing you collect?

Recipes. I really like odd recipes. Ingredients you don’t know how to find, combinations you’d never think of. A lot of thrift stores have recipe books, I like to find the ones that people wrote in or edited. It’s like personal piece of them and their lives that I get.

(I don’t know how to answer this so we’re going with overall fav vintage memes) Sure Jan, astrology posts, rare pepes 

53. have you ever watched the rocky horror picture show? heathers? beetlejuice? pulp fiction? what do you think of them?

Yes. Yes. Yes. And Yes. All excellent. Rocky Horror in particular is one of my favorites.

54. who’s the last person you saw with a true look of sadness on their face?

Myself. In a mirror. Ha. No. I don’t know. Everyone’s sad I think.

55. what’s the most dramatic thing you’ve ever done to prove a point?

I filled a professor’s office with birds after they gave me detention for calling him a “bird brain”. Since school I’ve been trying not to do things like that.

57. go listen to bohemian rhapsody. how did it make you feel? did you dramatically reenact the lyrics?

That song is too long to stop my day and listen to. I can tell you that I only like about 50% of the song though. The good bits are very good though.

58. who’s the wine mom and who’s the vodka aunt in your group of friends? why?

I am the vodka aunt (no commitment, perpetually drunk) and Calvin is the wine mom (weepy, annoying, etc.).

59. what’s your favorite myth?

Artemis and Callisto. 

60. do you like poetry? what are some of your faves?

Pigeons shake their wings on the copper church roofout my window across the street, a bird perched on the crosssurveys the city’s blue-grey clouds. Larry Rivers’ll come at 10 AM and take my picture. I’m takingyour picture, pigeons. I’m writing you down, Dawn.I’m immortalizing your exhaust, Avenue A bus.O Thought, now you’ll have to think the same thing forever!

24. is there someone out there you would trust with every single one of your secrets?

No. Possibly my grandmother… but mostly no.

45. do you trust your instincts a lot?

Yes. They tend to be right nine times out of ten, and any time I’ve been steered wrong has been easily managed.

56. what are some things you find endearing in people?

Crooked teeth, colored hair, thinking too hard about jokes, being ghosts.

Romy doesn’t hate reading, but she’s definitely never enjoyed it. During school she avoided it as much as possible and would often interject in class when she thought too much work was being assigned.
