A knock would come to Glynda’s door, Ozpin standing before it with a steaming tea latte in hand and a sheepish expression.
She had been sitting on her infrequently used bed with her head in her hands when the knock came at her door. Blinking away the remnants of tears the Huntress picked herself up, her cashmere robe hanging loosely on her frame. She knew it was him and she was both relieved and afraid.
Glynda shut her eyes, taking a moment to breathe and rub her eyes. She had come out of the bath less than an hour ago and her skin was still warm and dewy, her long hair let down her back. A loud mew and brush at her feet had the woman opening her eyes to look down. Handsome, was peering back up at her, his black fur recently brushed, shiny and sleek.
The cat mewed again before leading her out of the bedroom and down the stairs, likely aware that a favourite of his was at the door.
At least she had calmed in the several hours she had spent alone. Though she feared what he would say and it all starting over again.
And yet…she still wanted to see him.
Smoothing her gown, Glynda reached for the handle and pulled the door open. It was hard to meet his eyes but she did, noting the mug in his hand. Without a word she steps aside, a clear indication for him to enter. Handsome mewed, already trotting up to greet the Huntsman.
