   Okay, maybe they hadn’t exactly talked since her epic meltdown where she basically proclaimed herself unloveable or whatever, but god dammit Wanda was one of her only friends and she really didn’t want to fuck that up. It felt like maybe it was too late for that. But there she was, loitering in the living room of the brotherhood house, trying to ignore the stomach turning smell emanating from the kitchen. She wondered briefly if someone was setting the house on fire, but she decided it was a mercy killing if they were and was promptly distracted by the sight of Wanda descending the stairs. Glove covered hands pushed into the pockets of her hoodie and she inhaled slowly, then exhaled, then met Wanda’s blue eyes with her own green ones. “Hey,” she said, feeling awkward, uncomfortable in her skin for a whole different reason than usual.

Idk I could probably write another more pretentious meta post on this but like When people say Rictus looks "lost" or like he doesn't belong it's accurate at least visually/outfit wise All the high ranking people in the Citadel have the flaming steering wheel on their body, i.e. The imperators, including Furiosa (traitor!! but it's the uniform lol), Joe (it's HIS symbol so he has the fanciest one), Corpus Colossus (who doesn't have it on a belt but more like a necklace thingie so it's on his chest instead of his crotch), and hell Scabrous Scrotus has a tattoo of something similar on his stomach So basically everybody except Rictus lol Which is kinda odd considering how much he looks up to Joe & wants to follow in his footsteps...? So idk maybe he misplaced his that morning or they couldn't figure out how to cram it into his already ridiculously complex outfit or its symbolic of how he has different motives or something?? Like Joe has the flaming steering wheel & guns over his crotch- violence and ownership, why he wants to get the Sisters back to him, while Rictus has baby doll heads instead, because he really really wants that baby brother
