After years in the Survey Corps Eren devolved a a strange sense while he slept where any movement around him somehow jarred him awake. This sense was notably dulled whenever he had the rare pleasure of being able to actually share a bed with Mikasa.
But on this particular night he found himself shaken out of what was an at least somewhat restful slumber when the mattress began to shake under him.
