         eyes are trained on the brunette, refusing to look          away even though the A N G E R building inside          of her only strengthens with each passing moment,          resentment making its nest within her chest as          it etches spencer's name over and over as the          reason why such ugly things refused to leave her.

         the girl that existed before everything happened          wouldn't recognize the allison that now stood          there -- but that was before spencer left her to        die alone, before the other's ego got in the way          during the one time she N E E D E D her, and so          how is it fair for allison to simply leave without          letting her know what she's done?

         she knows, to some extent, that her presence          alone could be startling; she's not supposed to          even be there, after all. but she's not sure she          cares about what will be the other's reaction to          her, the N E E D to make spencer realize the          weight of her mistakes clouding whatever good          judgment allison could still possibly possess          within her.

         she creeps up on the girl, wondering if she's          as unsuspecting as she seems, wondering          if her voice will even reach her at all. still, the          poison on her tongue is relentless as she          spits out words one by one, hoping spencer          can feel each bitter sting just like allison does.

                       ❝--- you just had to, didn't you? you couldn't                        resist running on your own, as if you'd ever                        be able to fix something like this on your own.                        i died, spencer, and you didn't do a single                        thing to stop it.❞
