it strikes up a mess of emotions that don’t come as a good combination for a lahey. his fuse is short, and this pisses him off. it hurts, and it makes him feel things he doesn’t want to, but, it most of all pisses him off. he isn’t scott; people need to start realizing that he is not scott mccall. he can’t drop everything at the drop of a dime. he can’t deal with things with ease, like it isn’t making him shoulder burdens, and emotions that he isn’t quite sure how to carry. allison’s death showed that. it showed that he isn’t brave like the rest of the pack. that dealing with this kind of thing isn’t something he could suffer day in & day out without taking a break for himself. he doesn’t do well with grieving around others. he isn’t one to be a brace for support. and, it’s nowhere near fair that he’s expected to be.
spencer can’t fault him for this. she can’t. he could barely hold himself together before he left, how the hell could he be expected to help her?
