So I went and commissioned this from the amazingly talented Celebril as a cover for my Thorin/OC fic The Linden Tree (FFNet / AO3) and now I’m crying - partly out of guilt for plaguing someone with requests for chainmail, linden-blossom, viking swords and a summer dusk, but mostly because of how beautiful it is. Go give her some love.

Jim raised a brow as he entered the room, finding Marian nearly falling off the sofa. He couldn't help but chuckle under his breath, well aware that she'd been up for three days straight. It was likely that she'd be out for a long time, and in that position she'd only get pissed at him later. He had to move her. He knelt beside her for a moment, then wordlessly scooped her into his arms. Jim wasn't overly strong, but it wasn't like Marian was overly heavy either. He held her steady as he took her into their bedroom. The sofa would only leave her sore. 

She shifted a little in his arms, but he managed to get her onto the bed, pulling the blanket over her and starting to leave the room. She needed the rest.
