may i present to you Lane Benson, age 24. eldest son of divorced parents, he spent his whole life trying to pick up the pieces of his broken family. he felt as if he was the glue that kept everything from falling apart (even though it already had). his father wasn't around a lot and his mother began experiencing addiction issues, so he ended up raising his siblings and himself, mostly with no adult supervision.

the only adult that actually showed interest during their developing years was his uncle, a country musician. not even tour would stop him from showing up and giving a damn. he would often take Lane and the siblings with him if it was necessary.

Lane fell in love with music right then and there. his uncle became his hero, the one who could do no wrong. he learned how to play guitar and as he got older he would even go on stage with his uncle. the crowd cheering gave him a sense of ecstasy. once he started he couldn't stop.

Lane is a loyal, self-assured, dance machine lad. in his free time he enjoys the occasional snowboarding trip or a bowling sesh with his closest friends. he often likes helping out at Strangerville's local dog shelter as well. mostly because he had to give up his childhood dog since they didn't have the means to raise it. so, as a kid, he would go there everyday just to say hello to his pupper and it turned into a habit even after his dog's passage.

he's a nice guy. not like those guys who say they are nice guys but end up not being nice guys, y'know? sure, he can be a little too self-centered sometimes, that comes with the job, but he always tries to puts others' needs in front of his own. he is a patient dude, unless someone is mean-hearted, 'cause he just despises those people. he will fight someone if necessary, the man has broken a few noses (and has gotten his nose broken a few times as well).

he smokes and enjoys his whiskey, habits he picked up from being on tour with middle aged country musicians. he likes cooking, which his surprising because you would think it would be more of a chore at this point, right? i mean, he had to raise his siblings so it could've gone either way. being a mechanic was his plan b in case music didn't take him anywhere.

and yeah, this is my dude! hope you enjoy him as much as i did creating him.

Rhea and Cedar really bonded during their date at the botanical gardens. They talked for hours, went cloudgazing and stopped by the swings. Feeling inspired by the clouds and playful after the swings they decided to step it up a notch...

Rhea and Jana’s date at the carnival started off with Rhea losing at balloon pop and a refreshing dip in the nearby fountain

At the final rose ceremony Rhea said goodbye to Jana and gave Cedar her last rose. He gleefully became her partner and with that we end this challenge

Benji and Charlie confessed they weren’t too keen on Rhea while Celeste more than made up for her previous mistake. The last rose went to Celeste and we to say our goodbyes to Benji and Charlie
