I worked at walmart during my post-secondary (it was the only place open late in town, meaning I could work just enough hours after school to scrape by) and my manager-friend kept begging me to watch Superstore, she loved it? but I couldn't bring myself to watch a show about work after I finished that work :')

anyways, is the show good? now that I don't work there it does sound more appealing

I really enjoy it! It has the same energy as B99, the office, and Parks and Rec (re: occupational comedy about their workday). I'm burnt out and brain-dead atm because of grad school, so it feels really good to throw on a show with low stakes and easy-to-follow silly plots

if your het ship is on an nbc workplace sitcom and the woman is a latina named amy and her last name starts with s and she’s a bit of a control freak and the man is a jewish guy whose name starts with j and he takes most things less seriously than the woman and they began as rivals but were crushing on each other at different times during the initial infuriatingly long slowburn phase… it’s valid
