anything before modern mutants might include the (actual website's) scrapped concepts, but it would also be general, random mutations. modern mutants tend to follow certain trends with species because they're "artificially" mutated, but you can still get more random ones (hence why folks like xem can get away with calling xemself a mutant acara and not really be doubted heavily)
