What did your past relationship teach you?
My relationship with Tom had taught me a lot. I've had relationships before him, but nothing serious. He's the first man I truly cared about, and I think the fact that we started out as best friends really attributed to that. He taught me how to ground myself more, to not just always be on the go and to not just focus on my career. That there was more to life than achieving my career goals and that I should enjoy the fruits of my labour. It's funny because we started our production company together with two of our closest friends and work was a big part of our relationship, but never in a bad way. It's just ironic he was the one to make me appreciate life outside of work more when so much of our work was part of our relationship. I grew up a lot during our relationship, and I have him to thank for that. We're still close, still best friends and business partners.
