i was informed by my lichen professor that there was a very special lad of whom i am well acquainted blooming in the bio department greenhouse rn and of course i had to pay her a visit.....im so proud
(species: Amorphophallus konjac (’voodoo lily’), a somewhat economically important corpse flower native to indochina. fans of the Amorphophallus genus and those acquainted with their greatest hits will remember a very unique cousin, Amorphophallus titanum, which is native to sumatra and produces the largest unbranched inflorescence in the world!)
