He is all long legs and aristocratic grace as he lounges on the sofa in the study - the effect is only slightly ruined by the fact he is lying upside down, long hair deliberately wild - a picture of teenage apathy and given that he is fully expecting his mother to enter - rebellion.
It is not his mother, however, who enters the room - but his cousin - which is hardly better.
“Bella...” He greets her, tone deliberately bored and almost dismissive, because he certainly doesn’t want her to think he’s glad to see her. “You’re awfully early for the party.”
