depending on how cold it is, they might have to turn on your heat because of the plumbing. Bursting pipes are a bad thing.
If this had been a couple of weeks ago, I'd have thought that was the problem, but it's been well above freezing for the last few weeks. Then again, I know nothing about plumbing. I just wish they'd have left some sort of note that "We turned on your heat because of xyz" instead of just coming home to find my apartment STIFLING with no explanation whatsoever.
