seasonal things! road trips! get cami out of the shop. pulled out of her usual environment for an actual break for once, she struggles with letting go. drag her out to a beach trip or a vacation in general. maybe a fun fair? share funnel cake, enjoy some rigged games, win each other plushies, get to know each other on the ferris wheel. my personal favorite: halloween-themed things. come up with matching halloween costumes and go shopping for them, attend some fun festivities, end up in an actual haunted house that was supposed to be fake … you get the idea.

i'm going to throw in a romance thingy and it's going to be fake dating because i'm just a girl (that really enjoyed off campus). cami and the other muse pretend to be together for whatever reason actually makes sense to them ... for a job, a family thing, to get someone off their back, doesn't matter. the annoying part is that they're actually both really good at it, too good, and somewhere between the fake hand holding and the fake pet names neither of them can quite remember which parts were supposed to be fake. slow burn, mutual pining ... bonus points if one of them catches feelings first and has to pretend they haven't.

cami but make her evil … thinking about her getting pulled into the supernatural world by someone who is very much not looking out for her best interests. someone who notices what she can do before she does, and instead of explaining it gently, starts nudging her towards the darker parts of magic most witches shy away from.

treasure hunters! think indiana jones or uncharted: some object comes in through the museum or the hollow with a story that doesn't add up, and instead of just cataloguing it for once, cami actually follows the lead. next thing she knows she's in way over her head, chasing something across cities or maybe the globe with someone equally in too deep.

doppelgänger things. someone looks at cami and doesn't see a stranger. sees someone they knew, someone they lost, someone from a story they thought was over. she's never heard the word doppelgänger out loud in her life but maybe the other person has, or they are curious to know to find out why the universe just decided to hit copy and paste. could go anywhere from there, mutual investigation into what she actually is, old grief getting complicated by a new face wearing it, take your pick.

vamp cami, vamp cami, vamp cami!!! specifically the immediate aftermath of her turning, her waking up and feeling all kinds of wrong, experiencing the weirdest hunger she has ever felt. whoever finds her first basically decides what kind of vampire she becomes. could be someone who almost stakes her on instinct, could be someone who actually sticks around and talks her through it. bonus points if they track down whoever turned her and get some sweet revenge.

i'd love to explore cami's witch side a bit more, especially if neither muse actually clocks what is going on at first. just two people going “okay that was weird right? you saw that too?” and slowly realizing they can't logic their way out of it together. giving very much bonnie S1 vibes (early tvd vibes in general) but nobody's grams is around to explain anything.
