Hey to be honest the use of kinnie/kin as a verb makes my life way safer. I'm a tulpa of a fictional character. My source is me. His name is my name, he is how I see myself, my memories, appearance, personality, everything. And it's so so much easier to say "I kin x" or "I'm a x kinnie" because the plausible deniability provides actual safety to me. Plus normies are less likely to act super fucking weird around me if I say "hi my name is Mina and I kin Blorbo" than if I say "my name is Blorbo I am him." Not to diss the second type of person, I did that for a while before changing my name, but for personal reasons I really don't want people to know my source as soon as they know my name. If someone reacts weird to me saying I kin x, I can play it off as a joke. If they react normal, I might open up later about how seriously this is entwined with my life. And if someone is grievously offended and demands to know if I kin them for real or just as a joke, I will simply leave the situation and never talk to that person again? I am not telling someone my exotrauma just because they're pissy about the use of certain words. Because people getting mad about language do not pose the same threat as, you know, widespread institutionalized saneism
