thoughts on how jotaro shakes in the panel where he discovers his mom passed out in avdol's arms?

UNIRONICALLY I THINK ABOUT THIS SO MUCH ACTUALLY!!!!! THANK YOU TO WHOEVER ASKED ME ABOUT THIS VERY NICHE JOTARO DETAIL.

this actually isn't the only time he does this in sdc either! shaking is a thing that jotaro consistently seems to do when he's stressed, albeit usually very repressed. at the very least with the way it's presented you can assume it's him tensing up badly

he also trembles VERY frequently during the dio fight and i don't think either of the animated adaptations show it nearly as much. it still comes up though once or twice

either way, to answer the original question: i think it's a really neat trait that adds a lot to jotaro's character which really cements that he really is just a teenager who never even wanted to go to egypt and only ever went for his mother in the first place. like i genuinely cannot imagine how terrified he is at all times especially with how often his (presumably, only real) friends get injured. repressing all of that stress and only letting it show on rare occasions has to mess him up badly in the trauma department later

and i am! i actually have over half of chapter 3 written, it's just been going super super slowly because i've been busy recently :-) (+ been dealing with some art/writing block). there's usually pretty long gaps between chapters since they're about 10-15k a pop (usually a few months or so), but i'm hoping to speed that up with the last few chapters since they should be shorter-ish

what took two years?

OKAY SO FOR CONTEXT.

fma mobile released in august of last year. it was STUNNINGLY!!!!! popular in japan when it first released and still is, and a lot of the fullmetal alchemist fanbase still played it (even overseas, hence why i made a semi-translated guide when it first came out)-- only for square enix (the company who made it) to randomly shut it down LESS THAN TWO YEARS??? INTO??? ITS LIFESPAN???

technically it shuts down march 29th of next year, but it's still not even going to make it to two years... kind of sad but extremely weird. to my knowledge they didn't even complete the full story, and the stuff they hadn't finished is turning into an audio drama and being released, so...???

(also fma mobile had a persona collab at the start of its life and it's technically another victim of the persona collab curse haha)
