“Aww!! Aren’t you cute?! I’ve never seen a Pokémon like you before!!”

Taya was completely and utterly lost. She had not long ago escaped her tower, well her home to be specific, and was wondering around the town. Everything was new to her, new smells and new sights but something that wasn't new was her thirst for blood. The thing is that she never had to quench it by herself as she had people to bring her a blood bag because she refused to drink from humans.
The thirst was weakening her and her powers but was also creating the blood red glow in her eyes. It was safe to say that she was scaring anyone who came across her as she blindly walked through the town's streets. She then sensed that a vampire was near her and she made her way towards that feeling, in which she grabbed them by the arm and looked them. "P...Please help me...I'm thirsty..." She pleaded with the other, hoping that they will help.

@themediummuses | A Visit
So much had been going on in such little time - From his release from prison, to nearly breaking parole, to being murdered by a ghost. What little sleep Daryan had been getting before has been severely reduced, ending in sleepless nights and sporadic naps throughout the day as he tries to remain on-guard while searching for the answers that may finally crack the code of protecting himself and the people he cares about.
Enough, eventually, becomes enough. He needs peace! Quiet! He needs someplace to go that can ease the weight on his shoulders for some time! Somewhere he can rest.
And he know exactly the place; A little-known temple up in Eagle mountain. Or… perhaps Hazakura Temple wasn’t quite so unknown since the convoluted murder plot that had taken place there nearly a decade ago. Neither would it be somewhere Daryan could go to forget his troubles - far from it. Not that this would deter the former detective.
So up Daryan goes, making the two-hour drive into the mountains and to the temple said to be able to being blessings of luck and good fortune on visitors. More than that, though, the place is said to house people who knew a thing or two about spirits. One person in particular is who Daryan is interested in - One Iris Hawthorne. The name had come up quite a bit during his research on her sister. Maybe she would have some idea on how to help...
The drive is long and quiet - it starts off tense. Daryan is alone again, and more alone still as he moves away from civilization. It’s a vulnerable position to be in. But the peace that comes with leaving the bustle of the city far behind (but not too far) soon permeates the atmosphere, and actually does a fair amount to lift his mood and settle his nerves despite whatever perceived danger he may or may not be in.
Once he finally parks, he finds that he’s actually looking forward to the visit, whatever may come from it. He makes his way towards the front gates, hoping the information he had gathered still held true and that he wouldn’t be turned away immediately. What a waste of gas that would be!

“So, this new-found love of yours...are you sure it had nothing to do with those gray organic creatures that keep infiltrating the base?”. Obsidian chimed questioningly as they drifted along on the outskirts of the Praxus sector. The sleek black starship was currently headed towards planet Igliak, specifically Meridian city, to investigate the information they found considering Ratchet’s whereabouts. And Klunk was practically ecstatic at the thought of getting to see the lovable furball in person.
The small bot was only half listening to the A.I, his optics directed at the various celestial objects passing by outside. Every moment that passed brought him closer to his joyous objective. “I have some doubt that those despicable squishies are behind anything of that caliber, besides just how would they go about manipulating me in such a manner, it’s not like they personally cast their magic upon me. If that were the case I would have remembered witnessing the telltale smoke that happens to appear after the magic had been activated”. Apparently the love potion had clouded his mind so much that Klunk failed to recall that his change in heart towards Ratchet had occurred shortly after ingesting his usual tea.
“Well then, I guess love can spark at any given time. Even if the feelings are for a past enemy. I will make note of this in my logs”. Obsidian replied, before growing quiet to focus on piloting herself through a small but hazardous cluster of space rocks.
Klunk leaned against the side of the ship’s interior, his optics closing as various pleasant thoughts slowly formed. He could have spent hours like that, but unfortunately shortly after closing them, a rough jerk abruptly tossed him forward. The small bot flung his arms out, stopping his movement before his head could slam against the ship’s console.
“You know, I would greatly appreciate it if you flew more carefully, Obsidian. The last thing I want is to experience unrepairable brain damage due to your reckless piloting”. Klunk’s optics were narrowed, his arms crossed in a gesture of annoyance.
“Oh, please do not pout. I miscalculated the size and trajectory, I had no choice but to commence evasive maneuvers to avoid crashing”. The voice of the A.I sounded apologetic at the act of disrupting her diminutive passenger. “I promise I will focus more on giving you a smoother flight in the future. But if by some reason I cannot, it would be wise for you to wear your seat-belt”.
With a slight groan, Klunk reluctantly took Obsidian’s advice. A tiny click sounded as he secured the belt around himself and locked it in place. “There, are you happy now?”. He replied with mild bitterness. Although it would be the smartest choice to always wear his seat-belt while flying, Klunk just deemed it unnecessary, especially when he was quite sure that it made him look stupid while he donned it.
A humorous giggle echoed from the ship’s console. “Yes, I am quite pleased. Many thanks for taking my advice”.
Klunk was in the middle of rolling his optics at her words, when he was disrupted by yet another rough jerk radiating through the starship. Instinctively the bot griped onto the edge of his seat, while his optics formed into a half glare at the same time. “Obsidian, I thought you said you would be more cautious. If this is a joke, I am not laughing!”. The A.I remained quiet, not responding at all to his anger.
“Obsidian?”. Klunk’s tone had turned worrisome after she had failed to reply after several moments. Another rough bout of turbulence struck the starship, so powerful that if Klunk hadn't been strapped in he would have most likely smacked into the front glass of the cockpit. “We seem to....into....spatial anomaly....systems experiencing interfer-”. The static filled, partially cut-out voice of the A.I sounded weakly through the console speakers; it went completely silent before she was able to conclude her sentence.
Copious amounts of fear had started to steadily flow into Klunk while listening to the voice, and it had proceeded to spike after losing contact with the A.I. He was practically frozen on the spot as he took in what she had said.
A spatial anomaly... He had heard of such occurrences. From what various science documentaries had told him, it happened when the universe underwent a disturbance of some sort. Usually within the space-time continuum. However it had been spoken of as being a rare phenomenon. But despite it being claimed rare, it seemed to be happening at this very moment.
Hesitantly, Klunk lifted his optics up from the now silent console, staring straight ahead at the giant void that’s soul purpose was to swallow them whole. The small bot’s breathing faltered, his fingers digging into the upholstery. The sight of it was absolutely terrifying.
The starship thrusters lost power then. The only systems remaining in operation being life support (not that it was needed) and the ship’s landing flaps. But even those seemed like they would fail at any moment. In short, there was nothing to cease the strain of the anomaly’s pull as it proceeded to suck Klunk into its depths.
