My pet peeve that's probably the most niche and least agreeable is when people give lyrics songs that weren't meant to have lyrics.
A piece of music can be great standing as it is. You can sing along to the melody in whatever gibberish feels right. You don't need to taint the wordless melody by adding what you think it means. It's like if someone added speech bubbles to random paintings.

Hey, so I have like serious mood swings. Like, one minute, I could be happy again, the next I could be having a fit of anger, sometimes including violence (which I hate, but it's not directed at people) to the next minute where I could be overly anxious, the next happy again, the next suicidal etc. and it's kind of getting a bit much, you know? It can literally vary that much within about ten mins, so yeah.. As well as this, my friends are asking me to be checked out for OCD because (Part 1-DJ)
apparently I show a lot of the signs of it? E.g. At work yesterday, I spent about five of the eight hours I worked going round straightening books, rearranging things so they’re “right” (multiple times through the day) and then I spent another hour fidgeting because something wasn’t in an even number. Another thing I do is the counting thing, everything has to be in fours, and if not, twos. Also, if one of my fingers accidentally (most of the time) touch something, my other fingers (Part 2-DJ)
on that hand only have to also touch that object etc. or I’ll start getting panicky and even more fidgety. I also have a thing about colouring (yeah, it helps calm me) in the lines and if it goes out of the lines, I get really, really angry and usually end up tearing the page out or something like that, and I’ll also end up re-writing things over and over until they’re right, like, my coursework this year, I must have written out over twenty times until I was happy with it because (Part 3-DJ)
even if it’s the smallest of mistakes, it bugs me, you know? Well, I’ve gone on a bit and I promise this is the last part to this thing. What do you think is the best thing to do about it all and also, do you think that’s enough stuff to go about? I mean, going to the GP etc. absolutely terrifies me, so yeah.. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thank you (Part 4/4-DJ)
Hi love,
What about going to a doctor scares you the most? Is it something specific or is it just in general? I honestly think seeing a doctor would be best, love. It sounds like this is seriously impacting your everyday life, which is when a doctor needs to intervene and figure out what’s going on. You may not notice how much these behaviors impact your life, but there’s probably something going on if other people have pointed it out. Your mood swings are also something that a doctor should know about before you end up hurting yourself or someone else when you become angry. Although it might sound terrifying, seeing a doctor or a therapist would be your best bet. If it meant getting these things under control, do you think you could convince yourself to get help?
