* Hey kid. Let me tell you somethin' about the economy. Buy some gold.
* I bought 100 gold right after droppin' outta elementary school, and now it's sitting at a solid 100G. Never even had a dip.
* Heh. Don't worry, kid. One day, you'll be able to beat the market like I did.

The second-lamest thing you can do with a stupid premise is play it up and wink at the audience to show that you think it's stupid, too. The lamest thing you can do with a stupid premise is reign it in and clean it up until it looks like a serious premise. Both demonstrate weakness of character. You must sharpen the stupidity of your premise to a razor point and use it to slaughter your critics.
My Sonic design.
Idk what to call this, I was thinking maybe:
Sonic: FreedomFighters
For a while I was getting super into Akira Toriyama's art, especially his fantasy stuff for Dragon Quest. The product of this, in addition to a slight change to my art style around summer and fall last year, was this. A Utahraptor with a devious grin, like he's up to something. DQ has a few dinosaurian enemies, but they trend towards chimeric designs and delightfully monstrous stuff like armor, spikes, and random horns. Didn't draw the rest of the body because there would be little point; there's not much more stylization that can be done for the back half. Also, let's pretend the fingers being wrong is a product of the stylization, 'kay?
